“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” –Edmund Burke
Burke speaks directly to the men in America, and he speaks directly about me. We do nothing. I do nothing. We want our marriages to be strong and lasting, but we do nothing about it. We want our children to grow up to be faithful Christians, but we do nothing about it. We want our country to return to its roots of religion, morality, and limited government, but we do nothing about it. We want our families to be safe. We want our children to have good, godly educations. We want to be good men. We want to be free. We want to change the world, but we do nothing about it.
We live in a land plagued by infidelity, dishonor, immorality, and tyranny. We are unsafe, uneducated, and enslaved. Evil triumphs because, and only because the good men in this land do nothing.
I don’t want to do nothing. Not anymore.
